IP 55 Rating
The Terrace comes with an Ingress Protection rating, or an IP rating, a two-digit measurement for resistance to foreign materials. The first digit indicates resistance to particles such as dust, and the second digit a resistance to water. The Terrace is rated at IP55, meaning that it can withstand contact with harmful dust and low-pressure water projected from a nozzle (although we don’t recommend dousing your TV with water). Because your TV will be securely mounted by an audio-video professional, it will never be submerged in water, so an IP55 rating is plenty of protection. In addition, the Terrace is resistant to heat up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The remote is also rated at IP56. So rest easy knowing that your display will be protected from dust, humidity, insects, water, extreme temperatures, and more.
